Designed by world famous architect, Frank Gehry and Partners, this building was to be a large one-room building that resembles a warehouse. Completed in 2015, the  requirement on this project was to design and build healthy, sustainable workplaces that would enhance employees lives and inspire collaboration. BLL, opened the door  and assisted to provide a solution with elevated walkways made of naturally rot resistant Black Locust, is an organic product, that does not require treatment or finishes to increase its longevity.

The 420,000 square feet of space is completely open plan and provide workspaces for Facebook’s 2,800 members strong Menlo Park engineering staff.

Facebook achieved LEED® Platinum – the highest level of certification – at Menlo Park, California Headquarters.
