Fencing
Black Locust wood makes an excellent material for fencing. It has a long history of applications in fencing - it is often used for fence posts because of it's natural rot resistance. It requires very little if any maintenance and lasts for 50+ years without any decay. Black Locust wood will outlast pressure treated lumber with none of the harmful chemicals used with pressure treated lumber. It will last longer than the tropical hardwoods without the environmental destruction and with a fraction of the carbon footprint necessary to turn it into a finished wood product. We apologize for not having more pictures of fencing work we have done. We are circling back to fencing projects done in years past and will post the pictures as soon as we take them.
